After provisioning your TIDALBAY tenant, configure these key settings to match your organization's security policies and requirements.

Tenant Settings

Navigate to Admin → Settings to configure your tenant:

Score Recalculation
Changing scoring configuration affects new events only. Use the "Recalculate All Scores" button to apply changes retroactively.

Notification Settings

Configure how and when TIDALBAY sends notifications:

  • Email notifications: Configure sender address and templates
  • Slack integration: Connect your Slack workspace for channel and DM notifications
  • Microsoft Teams: Connect via webhook for Teams notifications
  • Digest frequency: Set daily, weekly, or real-time digest preferences

Employee Portal Settings

Control what employees see in their portal:

  • Portal enabled: Toggle the employee-facing portal on or off
  • Score visibility: Show numerical score, band only, or hide entirely
  • Event details: Show specific events or generalized categories
  • Disputes: Allow employees to dispute events that affected their score
  • Peer comparison: Show anonymized department averages

API Configuration

Manage API access in Admin → Settings → API:

  • API keys: Create and manage API keys with scoped permissions
  • Rate limits: View and request rate limit increases
  • Webhook endpoints: Configure outbound webhook destinations
  • IP allowlisting: Restrict API access to specific IP ranges (Enterprise)
Environment Separation
Enterprise customers can create separate sandbox environments for testing rule changes and integration configurations before deploying to production.
